To support the narrative, knowledge from different academic disciplines and fields of reflection intersect, such as development criticism, political ecology of agroecology, environmental knowledge, the perspective of complexity, collective psychology and ecofeminism. These allow the construction of frameworks of meaning that go beyond rational knowledge and delineate the adult-centered, patriarchal, extractivist and ecocidal character of the agroindustrial system that is imposed in most of the rural territories.
