I approach, first, the possibility of reaching knowledge of and from desire; Epicureanism, in a broad sense, will allow this rapprochement. Then, I focus on an analysis of desire in Ese oscuro objeto del deseo, a film open to a plurality of interpretations. I conclude by reaffirming that authentic philosophizing is attached to everyday things, so it cannot do without our desiring condition.
