Sumario:Summary:Job satisfaction is a set of both positive and negative feelings a worker has to work, generated by various individual factors related to its work and the conditions under which it is made. Therefore it is important that organizations care about creating optimal conditions in order to keep staff motivated and have a good performance in their work and high levels of satisfaction. This research was aimed at determining the level of job satisfaction of nurses of special services in a private health institution, for what use was made Fernandez - Rivers: economic compensation, physical conditions work environment, support and respect for superiors, recognition by others when needed and the possibility of staff development work. I field research was used and the information was obtained through a 21-item questionnaire applied to nurses at a private institution. The investigation showed that the staff is satisfied.
