This therapy indicates that nursing care must be of quality and specific, strengthening patient safety at all times. This work shows the development of the treatment, its advantages and disadvantages and defines the nursing interventions. La terapia de alto flujo consiste en proveer un flujo de oxígeno, solo o mezclado con aire, por encima del flujo máximo inspiratorio del paciente, a través de una cánula nasal. Esta terapia indica que los cuidados de enfermería deben ser de calidad y específicos, fortaleciendo todo el tiempo la seguridad de los pacientes. Este trabajo muestra el desarrollo del tratamiento, sus ventajas y desventajas y delimita las intervenciones de enfermería. Sanatorio Allende.
