VII-XII DC) in the Ambato Valley, Catamarca. Previous analysis carried out over the ceramic recipients -centered in the identification of de facto vessels, their performance qualities, and tentative functions- are retaken to go in depth on the study of their decorative characteristics. These studies established that the vessels were available for their participation in a context of multiple activities associated to the storage and transportation of substances; in some cases they provide spatial guidelines for activities. Through this complementation, heterogeneous designs are drafted, which maintain certain perceptive recurrence in the ceramic assemblage of Structure 5. This includes the characteristics of the decorative field, formal categories, techniques, motives and their associated tentative functions.
