We were all admirers of her movies and we found them proper for the subject. Lucrecia Martel was very gracious accepting our visit with no delay. We reviewed her filmography ahead of time and went to Buenos Aires to meet her. Being aware of her busy agenda, It was a true honor to meet her. Especially now, while she is editing her new work “Zama”.So there we were. In an old, traditional light filled building in the trendy Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo. The music playing made a very welcoming atmosphere to the interview. A mediados del 2015, trabajando el tema de este primer número, el Comité Editorial junto con maestrandos de MaTPsiL, pensamos en entrevistar a Lucrecia Martel. Todos admirábamos sus películas y nos parecían idóneas para este tema. Sin demasiadas vueltas, nos dijo que sí desde el primer contacto. Como contábamos con el tiempo suficiente para trabajar el dossier, decidimos volver a ver sus películas (La Ciénaga, La Niña Santa, La mujer sin cabeza), descubrir otras producciones (Rey muerto, Nueva Argirópolis, Muta) y trazar las preguntas. Tres integrantes del equipo, María Agustina Brandi, Georgina Vorano y David González, viajábamos a Buenos Aires para las 24º Jornadas Nacionales de Carteles de la Escuela de la Orientación Lacaniana, por lo que nos pareció una buena oportunidad para concretar el encuentro.La esperamos a la entrada del edificio donde reside. Sabíamos que estaba muy ocupada con la edición de Zama, era realmente un privilegio que hubiera accedido. La tarde era sorpresivamente fría y ya comenzaba a oscurecer, así que las copitas de caña con las que nos invitó fueron más que bienvenidas, después de colgar en una pared la bicicleta en la que acababa de llegar. Ahí estábamos en un cuarto piso de un edificio antiguo, con el barrio de Palermo entrando por las grandes ventanas, iluminados por unas luces móviles de colores que Lucrecia encendió inaugurando así la noche del viernes… con una música que venía desde algún lugar del departamento. Ese fue el clima de esta entrevista... Facultad de Psicología.
