El presente artículo constituye una intervención especial en la edición de LAPSO dedicada a los “Dioses oscuros”. El autor realiza un análisis de los aportes que implicó el texto freudiano El malestar en la cultura, escrito por Sigmund Freud en 1929. Es sabido que el principal legado freudiano de este escrito, es que no hay satisfacción plena de la pulsión, pero el autor aísla otros no menos trascendentales para interpretar fenómenos tales como la segregación y la violencia.
