In a large part of the cases, we could recognize the importance of strengthening strategies for problem solving, designed planning, implementation and evaluation. The challenge from the perspective of edutainment is to generate proposals that are attractive from the playful point of view and that generate collective constructions that are pertinent from the educational point of view. When we think about the cognitive force to be deployed, we ask ourselves about the frames and frameworks of teaching and educational technology that contribute to generate and empower it. This article presents theoretical and strategic frameworks to analyze the value of these proposals in higher education while recognizing that the new possibilities that shape trends allow us to revisit and think pedagogically their appropriations in educational contexts and create proposals for deep education. Uno de los objetos más ponderados en los análisis de la tecnología en relación con la juventud de los últimos años son los videojuegos. En gran parte de los casos podríamos reconocer la importancia en el fortalecimiento de estrategias para la resolución de problemas, el diseño de planes de acción, la puesta en marcha y su evaluación. El desafío en la línea del edutainment es generar propuestas que resulten atractivas desde el punto de vista lúdico y que generen construcciones colectivas que resulten pertinentes desde el punto de vista educativo. Cuando pensamos en la fuerza cognitiva por desplegar nos preguntamos por los encuadres y los marcos de la enseñanza y de la tecnología educativa que contribuyan a generarla y sostenerla. Este artículo presentaencuadres teóricos y estratégicos para analizar el valor de estas propuestas en la educación superior en tanto reconoce que las nuevas posibilidades que configuran tendencias que nos permiten revisitar y pensar pedagógicamente sus apropiaciones en contextos educativos y crear propuestas de enseñanza profunda.
