Se presentan los resultados obtenidos de un estudio exploratorio donde se analizan las ideas de los estudiantes, referidas a los informes de laboratorio y su rol como actividad de construcción de conocimiento y desarrollo de habilidades cognitivas y comunicativas superiores. Se explicitan las respuestas dadas por alumnos de las carreras de Licenciatura y Bachiller Universitario en Física y de ayudantes estudiantiles de las mismas carreras a una encuesta de preguntas cerradas y abiertas orientadas a conocer la importancia que ellos asignan a los informes de laboratorio.
