Specifically, it focuses on the processes of political subjectivation (Modonesi, 2010) from the process of antagonism that its workers-strikers experienced against the boss of the company, the corporate union leaderships (known as charros in Mexico) and the Mexican labor authorities of the time. The theoretical argument is dedicated to the presentation of the links between experience and class consciousness as proposed by E. P. Thompson as a relational and historically determined process of political subjectivation. The article is based on 12 in-depth interviews with workers, retired workers, two advisors (one man and one woman) of the Mexican Workers' Party that accompanied the Pascual workers' movement, as well as newspaper reports from the time and internal reports. of the first years of work as a cooperative. Este artículo presenta los orígenes de la Sociedad Cooperativa Trabajadores de Pascual (SCTP), una cooperativa de producción de gaseosas y jugos que tuvo su origen en una huelga obrera entre mayo de 1982 y agosto de 1985 en la Ciudad de México. En específico, se concentra en los procesos de subjetivación política (Modonesi, 2010) a partir del proceso de antagonismo que experimentaron sus trabajadores-huelguistas contra el patrón de la empresa, las direcciones sindicales corporativas (denominadas como charras en México) y las autoridades laborales de la época. El andamiaje teórico está consagrado a la presentación de los vínculos entre experiencia y conciencia de clase según lo planteado por E. P. Thompson como un proceso relacional e históricamente determinado de subjetivación política. El artículo se fundamenta en 12 entrevistas en profundidad a trabajadores, trabajadores jubilados, dos asesores (un hombre y una mujer) del Partido Mexicano de los Trabajadores que acompañó el movimiento de los trabajadores de Pascual, así como en hemerografía de la época e informes internos de los primeros años de labores como cooperativa.
