The dynamics of a transitional process, added to the management of politics from a neoliberal model, generates adverse organizational-institutional conditions for care practices. The article gives an account of the institutional framework of care in the field of childhood and adolescence, analyzing the working conditions in which the processes of social intervention occur in this scenario, also the implications of these conditions for intervention and professional autonomy. Likewise, the study highlights the figure of caregivers in this plot, their perceptions, experiences, strategies and ways of "putting the body" to care for others. Finally, some proposals are outlined to think of care as a plural gesture based on comprehensive care policies. To pay for the analysis and reflection on the subject, the results of the research process, developed by researchers from the National University of Córdoba, Faculty of Social Sciences, will be retaken, expanding said contributions with inputs from the research path itself within the framework of the graduate thesis of the author. El escenario institucional de la Secretaria de Niñez adolescencia y familia (SeNAF), atraviesa un proceso de transición hacia el paradigma de la Protección Integral de Derechos de niñes y adolescentes. La dinámica de un proceso transicional, sumado a la gestión de la política desde un modelo neoliberal, generan condiciones organizativo-institucionales adversas para las prácticas de cuidado. El artículo da cuenta de la trama institucional de los cuidados en el campo de la niñez y adolescencia, analizando las condiciones laborales en las que se dan los procesos de intervención social en este escenario, como las implicancias de dichas condiciones en la intervención y autonomía profesional. Así mismo, el estudio resalta la figura de les cuidadores en esta trama, sus percepciones, vivencias, estrategias y modos de “poner el cuerpo” para cuidar a otres. Finalmente, se esbozan algunas propuestas para pensar al cuidado como gesto plural con base en una política de atención integral. Para abonar el análisis y reflexión sobre la temática, se retomarán resultados de un proceso de investigación desarrollado por investigadoras de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales, ampliando dichas contribuciones con insumos del propio recorrido investigativo en el marco de tesina de posgrado de la autora.
