The People's Economy can be considered as a political actor in itself; the consensus places within it all the economic activities and practices of subsistence, sustained or not in time, in constant tension with the social, and which are carried out by subjects who are marginalized from the formal labor world. The re-construction of this sector as emergent is key to think the organizational practices of the moment that are developed in Argentina. It is in this sense that we propose an analysis of the popular economy from the collective action, represented in the Confederation of Workers of the Popular Economy (CTEP). Firstly, we propose a concept of Popular Economy, secondly, its relationship with collective action, and finally, a brief description of CTEP. La Economía Popular puede ser considerada como un actor político en sí mismo; el consenso sitúa dentro de ella todas las actividades y prácticas económicas de subsistencia, sostenidas o no en el tiempo, en constante tensión con lo social, y que son llevadas a cabo por sujetos que se encuentran marginadas/os del mundo laboral formal. La re-construcción de este sector como emergente es clave para pensar las prácticas organizativas del momento que se desarrollan en argentina. Es en este sentido proponemos un análisis de la economía popular desde la acción colectiva, representada en la Confederación de Trabajadores de la Economía Popular (CTEP). Planteamos en primer lugar un concepto de Economía Popular, en segundo lugar, su relación con la acción colectiva para finalizar con una breve descripción de la CTEP.
