Recovering analytical categories proposed by Montaño (1998) and Cazzaniga (2010) for the study of social work’s legitimacy deepened this aspects en the field of Cordoba public health. We identify strategies developed from social work that enable the recognition of our intervention and the definition of positions in relation to the subjects of our professional action, with the other members of the work team and with the employer, who have allowed to configure a particular disciplinary space in the first level of health care. El presente artículo recupera algunos resultados de la tesis de maestría en Trabajo Social titulada “La legitimidad del Trabajo Social en equipos de salud interdisciplinarios” realizada en la ciudad de Córdoba, durante el período 2013-2015. Recuperando categorías analíticas propuestas por Montaño (1998) y Cazzaniga (2010) para el estudio de la legitimidad esta profesión, profundizo estos aspectos en el campo de la salud pública cordobesa. Se identifican estrategias desarrolladas desde trabajo social que posibilitan el reconocimiento de nuestra intervención y la definición de posicionamientos en relación con los sujetos de nuestra acción profesional, con los demás miembros del equipo de trabajo y con el empleador, que han permitido configurar un espacio disciplinar particular en el primer nivel de atención en salud.
