The need to recognize and understand traditional knowledge of medicinal plants is highlighted as an integral part of this approach. Additionally, the possibility of implementing agroecological projects in the urban community of Córdoba is raised as a strategy to strengthen the connection between students and their natural and cultural environment. Each of these options is analyzed in depth to understand their implications and potential benefits in promoting values related to biocultural diversity in primary education. Este ensayo se centra en la importancia de incorporar la etnobiología en la educación escolar como una herramienta pedagógica para construir valores en torno a la diversidad biocultural en la Educación Primaria de Córdoba. Se destaca la necesidad de reconocer y comprender los conocimientos tradicionales de las plantas medicinales como parte integral de este enfoque. Además, se plantea la posibilidad de implementar proyectos agroecológicos en la comunidad urbana de Córdoba como una estrategia para fortalecer la conexión entre los estudiantes y su entorno natural y cultural. Cada una de estas opciones se analiza en profundidad para comprender sus implicaciones y beneficios potenciales en la promoción de valores relacionados con la diversidad biocultural en la educación primaria.
