During the year 2000, an evaluation of the teaching-learning process was implemented through case studies. The objective of the educational research was to analyze the dynamics of the teaching-learning process based on a qualitative and descriptive study that allowed validating the implemented methodological proposal in practice. The information was obtained through: personal documents; narrative records; surveys and the opinion of participating teachers. In spite of the difficulties encountered in the first stages of the development of their "little research", the students reached a level of personal satisfaction greater than that achieved by the "mere" passing of a subject, since this proposal allowed them to feel like real actors in their training. For the teachers involved in the process, the results obtained were positive. La propuesta metodológica investigativa que se viene desarrollando desde 1996 en la asignatura ''Anatomía Comparada" enfrenta a los alumnos a una situación problemática específica que incluye los antecedentes a partir de los cuales deben identificar un problema, elaborar hipótesis y realizar predicciones y ponerlas a prueba discutir sus resultados y elaborar conclusiones. Durante el año 2000 se implementé una evaluación del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje a través del estudio de casos. El objetivo de la investigación educativa fue analizar la dinámica del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje a partir de un estudio cualitativo y descriptivo que permitió validar en la práctica la propuesta metodológica implementada. La información se obtuvo mediante: documentos personales; registros narrativos; encuestas y opinión de docentes participantes. Pese a las dificultades que se les presentaron en las primeras etapas de desarrollo de su "pequeña investigación". los alumnos alcanzaron un nivel de satisfacción personal mayor que el alcanzado por la "mera" aprobación de una asignatura, ya que esta propuesta les permitió sentirse como reales actores de su formación. Para los docentes implicados en el proceso, los resultados obtenidos fueron positivos.
