Analogies can help to their visualization and make theoretical concepts understandable. Analogies should be presented as pedagogical tool requiring a structured, systematic presentation. In the present paper this tool is used to teach the protein synthesis process. ¿Cómo enseñar algunos conceptos teóricos en el primer curso de Biología? Muchos conceptos científicos son difíciles para la comprensión de los alumnos, especialmente aquellos que no son observables u no pueden ser demostrados por experimentación. Las analogías pueden ayudar a visualizar y hacer más comprensibles conceptos teóricos. Las analogías deben ser presentadas como una herramienta pedagógica requiriendo una presentación estructurada y sistemática. En el presente trabajo se propone utilizar esta herramienta para que los alumnos puedan comprender el proceso de la síntesis proteica.
