The education campaigns were carried out in the context of research and education project for the conservation of an Endangered species. The select animal includes cultural, social, economical, educational, management conservation and legislative policies aspects. That model favored a wide analysis and get oral and written skills, promoting debates between students and between students and teachers, working all together to recognizing the problematic, to validate the analysis, to search for solutions and to select the target public for the conservation strategies. En este trabajo se presentan estrategias pedagógicas y resultados de tres talleres sobre Educación Ambiental y Educación para la Conservación desarrollados en la Provincia de Corrientes en el marco de un proyecto de conservación de una especie declarada en peligro de extinción. El uso de esa especie como un ejemplo de problemática ambiental local y regional es pertinente dado que permite un análisis que incluye aspectos culturales, sociales, económicos, educativos, de políticas de manejo, conservación y legislativos.
