| Sumario: | The present work analyzes semiotically the altarpiece in exhibition of the Marqués de Sobremonte Provincial Historical Museum of the City of Córdoba made in the XVII century in the context of the "evangelization" and the questioned "colonial pact". At a general level, it tries to question unifying amalgams in the hegemonic interpretation of the visual symbolic miscegenation that tends to place the colonial baroque as a hybrid and unifying third of legacies, generating an interpretation of visual discursivity from a homologous perspective. In contrast, it seeks to demonstrate the multiple and juxtaposed coexistence of semiotic-visual texts that, in a "parallel" way, coexist in the same significant materiality and that, depending on the sociocultural stratum of belonging, made possible different interpretations of meaning. |
