Secondly, we reflect on the role women have played throughout history and still do in the music scene. Finally, we share some pedagogical proposals in order to work the CSE in the music class. This article comes from our monograph related to the final evaluation instance of the subject Planning and Teaching Practice of Musical Education Professorship. El presente trabajo propone una reflexión sobre la incorporación de la Educación Sexual Integral (ESI) en la asignatura Música de Nivel Medio. En principio, realizamos un recorrido que propone reconocer las normativas vigentes en materia de género en nuestro país, para luego adentrarnos en el enfoque que la ley propone. Luego, reflexionamos sobre el lugar que ocuparon históricamente las mujeres y que ocupan hoy en día en la escena musical. Finalmente, compartimos propuestas pedagógicas para abordar la ESI en la clase de Música. Este artículo se desprende del trabajo monográfico que realizamos en la cátedra “Planeamiento y Práctica Docente” del Profesorado en Educación Musical.
