The study was carried out in the Angamarca la Vieja farm in the Ramón Campaña parish of the Pangua canton. The study factors were: chocho + 10-30-10 at 20%, chocho + 10-30-10 at 40%, chocho + 18-46-00 at 20%, chocho + 18-46-00 at 40% plus the control, the data were taken at 60, 120 and 180 days, with four replications and four experimental units, using the completely randomized block design (CBRD), in the cultivation of chocho (Lupinus mutabilis). The results show that the chemical fertilization 18-46 -00 at a dose of 40% allowed better results in production, while the other treatments obtained inferior results in the following variables: plant height, stem diameter, number of pods, number of grains by pod, weight, and production in kg. La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la adaptabilidad y producción del cultivo de chocho (Lupinus mutabilis) con el uso de dos fertilizantes químicos en diferentes dosis. El estudio se realizó en la finca Angamarca la Vieja perteneciente a la Parroquia Ramón Campaña del Cantón Pangua. Los factores de estudio fueron: chocho + 10-30- 10 al 20%, chocho + 10-30-10 al 40%, chocho +18- 46-00 al 20%, chocho + 18- 46-00 al 40% más el testigo, los datos fueron tomados a los 60, 120 y 180 días, con cuatro repeticiones y cuatro unidades experimentales, se utilizó el diseño de bloques completamente al azar (DBCA), en el cultivo de chocho (Lupinus mutabilis).     Los resultados demuestran que la fertilización química 18- 46 -00 en dosis del 40% permitió obtener mejores resultados en producción, mientras que en los demás tratamientos obtuvieron resultados inferiores en las variables: altura de planta, diámetro del tallo, número de vainas, número de granos por vaina, peso y producción en kg.   Faculta de Ciencias Agropecuarias.
