The objetive of this research is to evaluate the best treatment applying the law of the minimum in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) with different nutritional solutions. The experiment was carried out inside the laboratory of the Technical University of Cotopaxi. The study factors were: barley + without ammonium sulfate, barley + without mono potassium phosphate, barley + without two phosphates, barley + without nutrients, barley + with nutrients, plus the control. The data were taken at 7 days the germination percentage, at 12 days what is fresh matter weight and dry matter weight, with five treatments and ten experimental units per treatment, the completely randomized design (DCA) was used in the evaluation of the law of the minimum in barley (Hordeum vulgare L.). The results show that the nutrient solution used without mono potassium phosphate and without nutrients allowed to obtain better results while in the other treatments they obtained lower results in the variables: percentage germination, weight of fresh matter, weight of dry matter. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo evaluar el mejor tratamiento aplicando la ley del mínimo en cebada (Hordeum vulgare L.) con diferentes soluciones nutritivas. El experimento se realizó dentro del laboratorio de la Universidad Técnica de Cotopaxi. Los factores de estudio fueron: cebada +Sin sulfato de amonio, cebada +Sin fosfato mono potásico, cebada +Sin dos fosfatos, cebada +Sin nutrientes, cebada +con nutrientes, más el testigo. Los datos fueron tomados a los 7 días el porcentaje de germinación, a los 12 días lo que es peso de materia fresca y peso de materia seca, con cinco tratamientos y diez unidades experimentales por tratamiento, se utilizó el diseño completamente al azar (DCA) en la evaluación de la ley del mínimo en cebada (Hordeum vulgare L.).Los resultados demuestran que la solución nutritiva empleada sin fosfato mono potásico y sin nutrientes permitió obtener mejores resultados mientras que en los demás tratamientos obtuvieron resultados inferiores en las variables : porcentaje de germinación, peso de materia fresca, peso de materia seca.    Faculta de Ciencias Agropecuarias.
