Sumario:At the first decade of twentieth century, in the context of the May Revolution Centenary celebration, argentine State seemed to be consolidating under a republican and liberal regime. But in some way, it was only an appearance, since it was necessary redesign the relationship between public power and civil society in order to attend people necessities, which that State cannot even then to answer them. In this article, we want to analyze the place that some women of the centre and south communities of the Buenos Aires Province occupied in the construction of the social and political order through institutions that developed important functions for the modern State.
