This explains the historiographical interest provoked by this phenomenon, interest that grew throughout the time and that produced a notable quantity of research. The present work has for object the critical exam of this bibliography, establishing its principal orientations and discussions concerning the subject matter, at the end of realizing a provisional balance and proposing certain reflections on this relevant field of studies. Durante los quince años transcurridos entre 1930 y 1945 el nacionalismo autoritario se configuró como una corriente de importante peso en el campo político argentino. Esto  explica el interés historiográfico suscitado por este fenómeno, que creció a lo largo del tiempo y produjo una notable cantidad de investigaciones. El presente trabajo tiene por objeto recorrer críticamente esta bibliografía, estableciendo sus principales orientaciones y discusiones en torno a la temática, a fines de realizar un balance provisorio y proponer ciertas reflexiones sobre este relevante campo de estudio.
