In order to take care of ourselves and others, schools close their doors and move into homes. During the first two weeks, the Language and Literature team of the Juan Zorrilla de San Martín Institute improvised some activities to fill that time "without classes", and to be able to return later without being "so far behind" with what we had planned at the beginning of the year. When we realized that those fifteen days were going to be extended for a longer period of time, we took a break. The experience we are going to talk about here develops from a movement that the pause allowed us to make. We wanted more than pedagogical continuity. We believed that in our space it was not possible to transfer to virtuality what we usually did in the classroom with the children. We wanted to pierce the confinement and create presence. So, we started to think. Un acontecimiento inédito e inesperado irrumpe y sacude al mundo. Para poder cuidarnos y cuidar a lxs otrxs, las escuelas cierran sus puertas y se trasladan a las casas. Las primeras dos semanas, con el equipo de Lengua y Literatura del Instituto Juan Zorrilla de San Martín improvisamos algunas actividades para llenar ese tiempo “sin clases”, y poder después regresar sin habernos “atrasado tanto” con lo que habíamos planificado a principios de año. Cuando nos dimos cuenta de que esos quince días se iban a extender por más tiempo, nosotrxs hicimos una pausa. La experiencia que vamos a contar acá se desarrolla a partir de un movimiento que la pausa nos permitió hacer. Queríamos algo más que continuidad pedagógica. Creíamos que en nuestro espacio no era posible trasladar a la virtualidad aquello que habitualmente hacíamos en el aula con lxs chicxs. Deseábamos perforar el confinamiento y crear presencia. Entonces, nos pusimos a pensar.
