This series of categories constitutes one of the key axes around which our author has articulated relevant problematizations for a certain critical tradition of Latin American Cultural Studies: we return in this direction the interdisciplinary instruments provided by Frederick Jameson (1989), to understand the writing as a socially symbolic act, and attending to the historical-social mediations of the Piglian critical-literary production. In this direction, we aspire to understand some of the key readings of Piglia's critical corpus about noir literature, in its link with the global development of a culture of fear (Lotman, 1999) and its anchorage in new social control devices (Deleuze, 1995). El presente artículo se propone, a partir de una breve caracterización del género policial contemporáneo, indagar en torno a la hipótesis de Ricardo Piglia (1941-2017) acerca de los desarrollos del relato negro hasta su versión ficción paranoica, resultante de la hibridación policial-ciencia ficción (Piglia, 1991). Esta serie de categorías constituye uno de los ejes claves sobre los que nuestro autor ha articulado problematizaciones relevantes para cierta tradición crítica de los Estudios Culturales latinoamericanos. Retomamos, en esta dirección, el instrumental interdisciplinario que brinda Frederick Jameson (1989), para comprender la escritura como acto socialmente simbólico, y atender a las mediaciones histórico-sociales de la producción crítico-literaria pigliana. En esta línea, aspiramos a comprender algunas de las lecturas claves del corpus crítico de Piglia en torno a la literatura noir, en su vínculo con el desarrollo global de una cultura del miedo (Lotman, 1999) y su anclaje en nuevos dispositivos sociales de control (Deleuze, 1995).
