In this study, we analyze stories from Luminoso amarillo y otros cuentos (2005), and we explore here central themes in his narrative, like memory, eroticism, sexuality, fiction-reality, power, revenge and poetic justice. This author is inscribed in the movement called Latin-American Post-Boom. We look into his narrative characteristics and his techniques. En esta investigación se analizan cuentos de Mempo Giardinelli, escritor y periodista argentino, cuya producción no solo es un aporte esencial a las letras argentinas de la última década, sino también a la narrativa breve universal. Se recorren aquí una serie de cuentos de la antología Luminoso amarillo y otros cuentos (2005), donde se exploran temas centrales en su narrativa: la memoria, el erotismo, la sexualidad, la ficción vs. la realidad, el poder, la venganza y/o la justicia poética. Inscribimos a este autor dentro de lo que se llamó Post-Boom Latinoamericano, indagando en las características de su narración y su técnica.
