Marina es el nombre de una mujer cuya subjetividad ha sido profundamente dañada. En su libro La mujercita vestida de gris. Relato de una subjetividad mal-tratada, expone los años dolorosos que le tocaron vivir tanto fuera como dentro del sistema monovalente manicomial. Lo escrito en este ensayo es una exposición de lo que la protagonista transmite allí, se pretende privilegiar en todo momento la voz de Marina resaltando lo expresado textualmente por ella.
