description ABSTRACTIn the evaluation processes for the accreditation of university courses, specifically of those courses included in the Higher Education Law No. 24521, as it is the case of the undergraduate Nursing Licentiate course, the assessment models come from pre-established standards. These standards are elaborated by experts in the field who determine the justification of thecourses of studies, the graduate’s profile, the scope of the degree and of the curriculum of the course of studies, among others. Inspired by the desire to comply with these standards, the self-evaluation, which takes place before the external evaluation to provide accreditation, seeks to analyze the curriculum so that it can be adapted to the assessment models. To achieve a full understanding of the meaning of the curricular evaluation, not only is it important to clearly understand it as a concept and to understand the published standards that regulate it, but it is also necessary to work towards the awareness of all the involved participants and their commitment to the resolution of the issues that the curriculum faces as a process and as a projected written document.

RESUMENEn los procesos de evaluación para acreditación de carreras, específicamente en aquellas incluidas en el artículo 43 de la Ley de Educación Superior 24521, como en el caso de Enfermería, los indicadores surgen de estándares pre establecidos. Los mismos son elaborados por expertos en la disciplina que determinan la fundamentación de la carrera, perfil de egresado, incumbencias del título y el currículo de la carrera, entre otros. En el afán de cumplir con estos estándares -la autoevaluación- previa a la evaluación externa para acreditación, busca analizar el currículo para que se adapte, a los indicadores de evaluación. Para lograr la plena comprensión del significado de la evaluación curricular, no solo se debe tener claro su concepto y los documentos normativos que la rigen, sino que es preciso trabajar en la conciencia de todos los actores que participan en ella y su compromiso con la solución de los problemas que enfrenta el currículo como proceso y documento escrito proyectado. RESUMONos processos de avaliação para credenciamento de carreira, especificamente aqueles previstos no artigo 43 da Lei do Ensino Superior 24.521, como no caso da Enfermagem, os indicadores decorrem de padrões pré-estabelecidos. Eles são elaborados por especialistas na disciplina que determinam a fundamentação da carreira, o perfil do graduado, as atribuições do título e o currículo da carreira, entre outros. No esforço de cumprir estes padrões -autoavaliação- antes da avaliação externa para acreditação, procura analisar o currículo para que se adapte aos indicadores de avaliação.Para compreender plenamente o significado da avaliação curricular, não só deve ser claro o seu conceito e os documentos normativos que a regem, mas também é necessário trabalhar a sensibilização de todos os atores que nela participam e o seu compromisso com a solução. ...dos problemas que o currículo enfrenta enquanto processo e documento escrito projetado.
