Introduction: Historically, the pre-professional practice of Mental Health Nursing was located in Psychiatric Hospitals, focused on the care process of a person with mental suffering, applying the Tidal Model. Due to the context of the pandemic, and the health measures of social distancing, it was impossible to enter the monovalent hospitals. This situation accelerated the transformation of pre-professional practices towards interventions from the community paradigm in mental health. The application of the Tidal Model was moved from the hospital to the community. Development of the experience: synchronous and asynchronous theoretical practical activities were included that culminated in the realization of a Holistic Assessment according to the proposed theoretical model. Conclusion: The experience was positively valued. The students appropriated the contents, which allowed to consolidate the mental health paradigm shift, focusing it on the community, where nursing must intervene to reduce the gaps in Mental Health care. |

Introducción: Históricamente la práctica pre profesional de Enfermería en Salud Mental se situaba en Hospitales Psiquiátricos, centrada en la planificación de cuidados en una persona con sufrimiento psíquico aplicando el modelo teórico de la Marea. Debido al contexto de pandemia, y las medidas sanitarias de distanciamiento social, se vio imposibilitado el ingreso a los hospitales monovalentes. Dicha situación aceleró la transformación de las prácticas pre profesionales hacia intervenciones desde el paradigma comunitario en salud mental. Se desplazó la aplicación del Modelo de la Marea desde el hospital a la comunidad. Desarrollo de la experiencia: se incluyeron actividades sincrónicas y asincrónicas teórico-prácticas que culminaron en la realización de una valoración holística según el modelo teórico planteado. Conclusión: Se valoró positivamente la experiencia. Los estudiantes se apropiaron de los contenidos, lo cual permitió consolidar el cambio de paradigma de salud mental centrándolo en la comunidad, donde debe intervenir enfermería para disminuir las brechas de atención en Salud Mental. Introdução: Historicamente, a prática pré-profissional da Enfermagem em Saúde Mental localizava-se nos Hospitais Psiquiátricos, voltada para o processo de cuidar da pessoa com sofrimento mental, o modelo teórico da Maré. Devido ao contexto da pandemia, e às medidas sanitárias de distanciamento social, foi impossível entrar nos hospitais monovalentes. Essa situação acelerou a transformação das práticas pré-profissionais para intervenções do paradigma comunitário em saúde mental. A aplicação do modelo da Maré foi transferida do hospital para a comunidade. Desenvolvimento da experiência: foram incluídas atividades teórico-práticas síncronas e assíncronas que culminaram na realização de uma Avaliação Holística segundo o modelo teórico proposto. Conclusão: A experiência foi valorizada positivamente. Os alunos se apropriaram dos conteúdos, o que permitiu consolidar a mudança de paradigma da saúde mental, focando-a na comunidade, onde a enfermagem deve intervir para diminuir as lacunas na atenção à Saúde Mental.
