It’s time to calmly work to detail the deep sanitary and socioeconomic repercussions of this pandemic. The  quantification of the damage inflicted to the society in its group is an arduous task. No deben quedar dudas del papel protagónico de la ciencia como solución a la pandemia de COVID-19. Es imperativo estudiar el fenómeno sobre la base de una concepción optimista y solidaria que, ante todo, tenga una significación humana como esencia principal. Es hora de trabajar con calma y serenidad para detallar las hondas repercusiones sanitarias y  socioeconómicas de esta pandemia. La cuantificación del daño infligido a la sociedad en su conjunto es una empresa ardua. Não deveria restar dúvidas sobre o papel protagonista da ciência como solução para a pandemia da COVID 19. É imperativo estudar o fenômeno com base em uma concepção otimista e solidária, que acima de tudo tenha uma significação humana como essência principal. É hora de trabalhar com calma e serenidade para detalhar as profundas repercussões sanitárias e socioeconômicas desta pandemia. A quantificação do dano infligido à sociedade em seu conjunto é um empreendimento árduo.
