| Sumario: | The Place of Memory, Tolerance and Social Inclusion (LUM) is a national memory space located in Lima and has the purpose of dignifying the victims of the period of violence (1980-2000). The leading role that archives have as historical sources for the study of this era was a reason for the LUM to articulate efforts and initiatives to finance international cooperation projects. The support obtained was vital because Peru was in the midst of a pandemic context and difficulties due to its current political and economic situation. In this sense, the experiences with the German Gerda Henkel Foundation will be presented to carry out a comprehensive redesign of the virtual platform of the LUM Documentation and Research Center and the drive to rescue 12 testimonies from the Narrators of Memories project as oral sources for research, both linked to the tireless task of promoting greater reflection and historical memory. |
