The leading role that archives have as historical sources for the study of this era was a reason for the LUM to articulate efforts and initiatives to finance international cooperation projects. The support obtained was vital because Peru was in the midst of a pandemic context and difficulties due to its current political and economic situation. In this sense, the experiences with the German Gerda Henkel Foundation will be presented to carry out a comprehensive redesign of the virtual platform of the LUM Documentation and Research Center and the drive to rescue 12 testimonies from the Narrators of Memories project as oral sources for research, both linked to the tireless task of promoting greater reflection and historical memory. El Lugar de la Memoria, la Tolerancia y la Inclusión Social (LUM) es un espacio de memoria nacional ubicado en Lima y tiene el propósito de dignificar a las víctimas del periodo de violencia (1980-2000). El papel protagónico que tienen los archivos como fuentes históricas para el estudio de esta época fue motivo para que el LUM articulase esfuerzos e iniciativas de financiamiento de proyectos de cooperación internacional. El apoyo conseguido fue vital porque el Perú se encontraba en medio de un contexto de pandemia y dificultades por su actual situación política y económica. En ese sentido, se presentarán las experiencias con la Fundación alemana Gerda Henkel para efectuar un rediseño integral de la plataforma virtual del Centro de Documentación e Investigación del LUM y el impulso para rescatar 12 testimonios del proyecto Narradores de Memorias como fuentes orales para la investigación, ambos vinculados a la incansable tarea de promover de una mayor reflexión y memoria histórica.
