Rather than describing the central actions of the struggle led by the National Strike Council, it is an attempt to explain the institutional repercussions caused by the protest of university youth at UAS. The effects resulted from the confrontation between a higher education institution on strikein favor of the struggle of those who led the Pliego Petitorio of the six points with the government authorities and had as a central scenario the organs of power of the universities. In this sense, this text highlights mainly how the University Council, the governing body of the UAS, faced, deliberated and agreed on the consequences caused internally by the mobilization of young people in favor of civil liberties in Mexico. El artículo aborda el movimiento estudiantil de 1968 en la Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa (UAS). Más que describir las acciones centrales de la lucha que encabezó el Consejo Nacional de Huelga, es un intento por explicar las repercusiones institucionales que la protesta de la juventud universitaria ocasionó en la UAS. Los efectos resultaron de la confrontación entre una institución de educación superior en huelga a favor de la lucha de quienes abanderaron el Pliego Petitorio de los 6 puntos con las autoridades gubernamentales y tuvieron como escenario central los órganos de poder de las universidades. En ese sentido, este texto destaca principalmente cómo el Consejo Universitario, instancia de gobierno de la UAS, enfrentó, deliberó y acordó lo relacionado con lasconsecuencias que provocó internamente la movilización de jóvenes en favor de las libertades civiles en México.
