It will also reflect about the challenges that impose in order to set up worker´s history. From social history this sources were considered as enlightening of aspects that were invisibles in other sources. It also generate expectations about the possibility to access into subaltern´s history through the data that contains such as material conditions, ideas, etc. It will set up the methodological challenges that implies historicizing about a collective actor with a individualistic source. At last, it will address the problem about who´s voice it’s that the source introduce. El artículo intentará reflexionar sobre el uso y las condiciones de producción de la fuente -en este caso los juicios laborales del Tribunal del Trabajo N°1 de la ciudad de La Plata para el período 1948-1960- y los desafíos que impone a los efectos de construir una historia de los trabajadores. Desde la historia social la utilización de las fuentes judiciales fue pensada como iluminadora de aspectos que otras fuentes no dejaban ver. También generaron expectativas sobre todo como posibilidad de acceder a la historia de los "subalternos", como una fuente para acceder a datos sobre condiciones materiales, ideas, etc. Se plantearán los desafíos metodológicos que implica la construcción de un relato histórico sobre un actor colectivo en base a una fuente de carácter individualizante. Por último se abordará una problemática que tiende a recorrer a los estudios realizados mediante la utilización de las fuentes judiciales que se puede resumir en la pregunta sobre qué voz es la que expresan dichas fuentes.
