The analysis of the report written by the governor of the national territory of Misiones, Hector Barreyro, in 1926, about the armed actions executed by Brazilian exiles from Argentinian territory towards Brazil, will inquire in the insights of the state authorities about the extent of the national state, the police surveillance and the political exile in international borderline zones Los aportes teórico-metodológicos que se han desarrollado en las últimas décadas en el campo historiográfico sobre los procesos de construcción del estado, han abierto nuevos interrogantes sobre los agentes estatales, su autonomía y su influencia en el desarrollo de las agencias estatales, llamando la atención además sobre las limitaciones o debilidades de las mismas. El análisis del informe del gobernador del territorio nacional de Misiones, Héctor Barreyro realizando en 1926, con motivo de acciones armadas llevadas a cabo por exiliados brasileños desde territorio argentino hacia el Brasil, buscará indagar en la mirada de las autoridades sobre los alcances del estado nacional, la vigilancia policial y el exilio político en zonas de frontera internacional.
