Houssay José Joaquín Izquierdo Nobel Prize Physiology In the Historical Archive of the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, thepersonal archive of the Mexican physician José Joaquín Izquierdo y Raudón, who distinguished himself forpenetrating the field of physiology and the history of science, is safeguarded. The documentation that ispreserved contains largely correspondence with different national and international figures of disciplinessuch as medicine, history and anthropology, among others. Concerning the letters stand out those heldbetween Izquierdo and some Nobel Laureates in Physiology and Medicine, among which are the argentinedoctor Bernardo Alberto Houssay, distinguished in 1947 with this award. This article aims to publicize therich information contained in this historical collection in relation to the correspondence between Izquierdoand Houssay, which had not been worked or consulted to date. En el Archivo Histórico de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México se resguarda el archivo personal del médico mexicano José Joaquín Izquierdo y Raudón, quien se distinguió por incursionar en el ámbito de la fisiología y en el de la historia de la ciencia. La documentación que se conserva contiene en gran medida correspondencia con distintos personajes nacionales e internacionales de disciplinas como la medicina, la historia y la antropología, entre otras. Entre las cartas, se destacan aquellas sostenidas entre Izquierdo y algunos Premios Nobel en Fisiología y Medicina, entre las que se encuentran las del médico argentino Bernardo Alberto Houssay, galardonado en 1947 con dicho premio. En este artículo se pretende dar a conocer la rica información que contiene dicho acervo  histórico en relación a la correspondencia entre Izquierdo y Houssay, la cual no se había trabajado ni consultado hasta la fecha.
