description En este trabajo se presentan los resultados obtenidos de la integración de diversas líneas de evidencia vinculadas al estudio de un recipiente cerámico recuperado en el sitio Corral Alto (Antofagasta de la Sierra, Prov. de Catamarca). Se analizan las características morfo-tecnológicas de este recipiente, en relación a su uso, para indagar en las prácticas cotidianas relacionadas con la obtención, consumo, procesamiento o almacenamiento de recursos vegetales. Al mismo tiempo, a través del análisis múltiple de microfósiles (fitolitos y almidones entre otras evidencias), se intenta una aproximación al uso y/o consumo de recursos vegetales silvestres y domesticados por parte de grupos agro-pastoriles durante el período Tardío (ca. 1000- 500 AP) en la Puna Meridional. AbstractIn this paper we present the results of the integration of various lines of evidence related to the study of a ceramic container recovered at the site of Corral Alto (Antofagasta de la Sierra, Prov. Catamarca). We analyze morpho- technological characteristics of the vessel related to their use to enquire into the daily practices related to the collection, use, processing or storage of vegetal resources. At the same time, we conducted a multiple microfossil analysis (phytoliths and starches among other evidences) to identify the use and /or consumption of wild and domesticated plant resources by agro-pastoralist groups during the Late Period (ca. 1000- 500 BP) in the Southern Puna.
