The lithic resources supply was a central activity in the subsistence of the pre-hispanic communities that inhabited the micro-region of Antofagasta de la Sierra (Catamarca) since 10000 BP approximately. The aim of this work was to study the external and internal transport of people, resources and products in quarries-workshop, and the social practices associated with the movement of quarriers-knappers over millennia. For this, systematic surveys and sampling of lithic ensemble were carried out. The latter were studied from a techno-typological analysis. Through the surveys it was possible to identify parapets, rock accumulations and sections of paths associated with workshops for resource extraction and knapped tool production. From these findings, it was postulated that people developed logistics that involved the transport of raw materials and products. The presence of structures and sections of unique paths show that space conditioning practices as part of a logistics of the movement were frequent. Thus, the quarries- workshop were constituted in a dynamic and meeting landscape, where multiple social practices were developed as part of everyday life.
