description This paper presents some results of the studies carried out in Río Yuspe 14 site (Pampa de Achala, Córdoba). Its significance in terms of subsistence-settlement strategies used by food-producing societies is evaluated. The existence of different mechanisms related to the use of high environments of Córdoba Hills, based on the evidences obtained in this site along with other cases studied in this area is discussed.
