En este trabajo se analizan distintos ejemplos de subgrupos compactos K de automorfismos de Hn a fin de determinar, en cada caso, si el par (G,K), donde G es el producto semidirecto entre K y Hn, es un par de Gelfand fuerte o no. Se prueba que si K=SU(2), el grupo especial unitario de matrices 2x2, es un par de Gelfand, aunque no resulta un par de Gelfand fuerte. Considerando K=T^n, el toro n dimensional, o K=U(2), el grupo de matrices 2x2 unitarias, los respectivos pares resultan pares de Gelfand fuertes. Luego, fijada una representación unitaria irreducible (tau, V) de T^n, se trabaja sobre el álgebra de convolución L^1 (T^n semidirecto Hn, T^n, tau) que ha resultado conmutativa por ser (T^n semidirecto Hn, T^n) un par de Gelfand fuerte y se determinan las funciones esféricas. Let Hn be the 2n+1 dimensional Heisenberg group. In this paper we analyze different examples of compact subgroups K of automorphisms of Hn in order to determine, in each case, whether the pair (G,K), where G is the semidirect product between K and Hn, is a strong Gelfand pair or not. It is proved that if K=SU(2), the special unitary group of 2x2 matrices, is a Gelfand pair, although it does not result in a strong Gelfand pair. Considering K=T^n, the n-dimensional torus, or K=U(2), the group of unitary 2x2 matrices, the respective pairs result in strong Gelfand pairs. Then, having fixed an irreducible unitary representation (tau, V) of T^n, one works on the convolution algebra L^1 (T^n semidirect Hn, T^n, tau) which has turned out to be commutative because (T^n semidirect Hn, T^n) is a strong Gelfand pair and the spherical functions are determined.
