description Análisis documental, de naturaleza paleográfca-diplomática, de un privilegio rodado del año 1215 por el que Berenguela de Castilla concede Villanueva de Terrados (Valladolid) al monasterio de Santa María de Sobrado (La Coruña). Se estudian sucesivamente el conjunto de documentos relativos a esta cesión; el señorío monástico sobre el lugar, que pervive hasta 1488; las diferentes versiones del privilegio; la bibliografía al respecto; las características gráficas, y el formulario diplomático, con particular atención a sus peculiares elementos de validación (rueda, columnas de testigos y sello pendiente, perdido en la actualidad). Por último, se evalúa su autenticidad. En apéndice van las transcripciones del supuesto original, la copia del Tumbo de Sobrado y dos traducciones al castellano de los siglos XVII y XIX.Abstract Documentary analysis, of paleographic-diplomatic nature, of a privilege of the year 1215 by which Berengaria of Castile grants Villanueva de Terrados (Valladolid) to the monastery of Santa María de Sobrado (La Coruña). We study successively the set of documents related to this cession; the monastic dominion, that extends until 1488; the different versions of the privilege; the bibliography that has treated it; the graphic characteristics, and the diplomatic form, with particular attention to its peculiar validation elements (rota, witness columns and seal, actually lost). Finally, its authenticity is evaluated. The transcripts of the supposed original, the copy of the Tumbo de Sobrado and two translations into Spanish from the 17th and 19th centuries are given in appendix.Key words: Diplomatics, Paleography, medieval documentation, Berengaria of Castile.
