The present work is inscribed in the relationship between cinema and theater, specifically in the uses that the performing arts make of audiovisual language. We intend to observe how scenic texts refer to films, appeal to cinema and television´s genres to narrate and resort to cinematographic procedures to construct the mise en scene. These crosses reveal new ways of thinking audiovisual production but also of new modes of construction of scenic text. Given that we understand these are result of a conscious decision of creators, in this study we will focus on the position of directors who, when producing the staging, make poetic decisions in this respect. |
