This article proposes an analysis of the different governments of the progressive political cycle in recent Latin America, focusing on their affinities, differences and political trajectories. Intervened in the debate on the need to construct a typology capable of allowing an objective interpretation of the Latin American scenario from a “field” or “block” of governments that mutually recognize their affinities while being recognized as a collective by actors external to them. Apart from all the differences between moderates / renovators on the one hand and radical refounders / nationalists on the other, it is possible to point out a variety of common traits throughout this set of political experiences. Among the relevantcharacteristics, we highlight six. |
