description |
At the end of 1970 the communists gave life in La Plata to a new Argentine University Federation (FUA) that confronted with the existing FUA, whose congress was soon to be held in Cordoba. In this second federation, the maoists of the FAUDI, the socialists of the MNR, the militants of the national left of the PSIN and the radicals, socialists and anarchists, with growing weight of the first, of the Franja Morada would stand out. In this article I rebuild the history of both federations, taking into account the debates they had in moments when the self-proclaimed dictatorship "Argentine Revolution" was in retreat. It aims to provide a general synthesis of the state of the Argentine student movement and its main groups. To do so, we will use documents from both federations, hitherto unaddressed, as well as magazines from the party and commercial press of the period and literature in question. |
