description In this article we propose to trace a chronological reconstruction of the actions that promoted the approach to the working movement, developed by the reformist student movement from the city of La Plata in the years between the “Revolución Libertadora” and the Government of Arturo Frondizi. Placing the focus on the initiative of students towards the working class allows us to visualize the political and ideological transformations that spanned an area of reformism in the city of La Plata (and also nationwide) at the end of the 1950s: the criticisms of the “Revolución Libertadora” and the approach to the opposition labor movement, supporting project of Arturo Frondizi and his "disappointment" in the first year of Government, review of the Peronist phenomenon, we speak of a reformist space with innovative policies with respect to the previous period.
