Experimental design was randomized complete block with four replications. Statistical analysis gave no significative difference between treatment and between exper'ments (years) . The nodulation and yield were similar with or without artificial inoculation. Se analizó la incidencia de la inoculación artificial en el cultivo de maní (Arachis hypogaea L.) en un suelo Haplustol éntico de Manfredi, Pcia. de Córdoba (Argentina), evaluando nodulación y rendimiento del cultivo. Se utilizaron 4 cepas seleccionadas de diverso origen realizando 2 ensayos (Campañas 1977/78 y 1978/79). Se usó diseño de bloques al azar con 4 repeticiones no obteniéndose diferencias significativas entre tratamientos ni entre ensayos. Se concluye que tanto la nodulación como el rendimiento fueron similares en presencia o no de inoculación artificial.
