The experiment was disposed in Latin Square (4x4) at the Experimental Station of Córdoba National University - Argentine. The most important results are the advantages of cloves of more than 1,222 grammes for comercial production and the possibility to use the smaller ones for the "seed production" because of the great conversion tax. A management model for the farmers is proposed. Cloves with more weight demonstrate a capacity to produce a greater number of leaves, taller plants, heavier bulbs and greater diameter, although they do not demonstrate significative statistic differences on the emergen speed. Se pretende demostrar la importancia del uso de zarandas de malla para clasificar,por tamaño y peso, bulbillos "dientes" de ajo destinados a plantación y la importancia de dicho calibrado en la obtención de buenos rendimientos comerciales. Se utilizó para tales fines el tipo clonal Rosado Paraguayo y zarandas de malla cuadrangular de 1,11 y 9 mm., dando lugar a 4 tratamientos que se plantaron bajo un diseño en Cuadrado Latino en el Campo Experimental de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba - Córdoba - Argentina. Los resultados más sobresalientes son, la ventaja de utilizar dientes de más de 1.222 gramos para producción comercial y la posibilidad de utilizar los menores para "producción de semillas", debido a la alta tasa de conversión de estos.
