The results obtained in the EES were the verification of the unifactorial structure (KMO = 0,88; test of sphericity of Barttlet = 568,59, p = 0,000) and a high level of reliability (Cronbach ? = 0,86). El objetivo planteado es analizar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Desgaste Emocional (ECE) (González-Ramírez y Landero-Hernández, 2007) en una población de 161 estudiantes universitarios de ambos sexos, 135 mujeres (83,9%) y 26 varones (16,1%) cuya edad media fue de 21,57 (DE = 2,87) que cursaron de manera regular la carrera de Licenciatura en Psicología de la Universidad Adventista del Plata en Argentina. Los resultados obtenidos en la ECE fueron la verificación de la estructura unifactorial (KMO = 0,88; prueba de esfericidad de Barttlet = 568,59, p = 0,000) y alto nivel de confiabilidad (? de Cronbach = 0,87).
