Strengthening of the production, commercialization and responsible consumption” subsidized SEU UNC 2018-2020. The objective was to reflect on the importance of students’ extension practices during their academic journey within the framework of our extension practice. The methodology involved reflective problematization and active participation in each meeting and proposed activity, promoting both the exchange of knowledge in horizontal communication tasks and the collective construction of knowledge. Students from the School of Agricultural Sciences and the School of Philosophy and Humanities participated in the experience. Achievements: concerted work with the Unquillo Agroecological Serrana Fair, Native Forests Project of the Ministry of Education of the province, park rangers reserve the Quebrachitos, Alberdi and Vélez Sársfield primary schools in Unquillo; the incorporation in the school curriculum of the right to food from the agroecological perspective taking the school garden as a device of food sovereignty and community development and, as a positive consequence of that, the submission of a proposal for a project by the Anthropology students with the scholarship program for extension projects SEU, UNC. El presente artículo describe la experiencia y práctica de extensión universitaria en escuelas de Sierras Chicas de Córdoba, Argentina desarrolladas en el marco del proyecto “Desarrollo territorial agroecológico y soberanía alimentaria. Fortalecimiento de la producción, comercialización y consumo responsable” subsidiado SEU UNC 2018-2020. El objetivo es reflexionar sobre la importancia de las prácticas extensionistas de los estudiantes durante su recorrido académico en el marco de nuestra práctica extensionista. La metodología se basó en la problematización reflexiva y participación activa en cada encuentro  y actividad planteada, promoviendo el intercambio de saberes en acciones de comunicación horizontal y la construcción colectiva de conocimientos. En la experiencia participaron estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Agropecuarias y de Filosofía y Humanidades. Logros alcanzados:  articulación con la Feria Serrana Agroecológica de Unquillo, Proyecto Bosques Nativos del Ministerio de Educación de la provincia, guardaparques reserva los Quebrachitos, escuelas primarias Alberdi y Vélez Sársfield de Unquillo; la concreción de la incorporación en el currículo escolar del derecho a la alimentación desde la perspectiva agroecológica  tomando a la huerta escolar como dispositivo de soberanía alimentaria y  desarrollo comunitario y, como hecho superador, la postulación de un proyecto de las estudiantes de Antropología al programa de becas a proyectos de extensión SEU, UNC.
