The aim of this work is to present the results obtained in the context of the Project "Older Adults, a new historical subject: the song as a bridge of intergenerational communication"  carried out in 2019, with funds from the Outreach Department of the University of Cordoba. Through a network of artistic-communication actions, generational exchange was promoted between older adults who were members of a choir from Salsipuedes, Córdoba, with students from primary, secondary and university levels, and with other two groups of choirs. Performances were held in educational institutions, followed by participatory dialogue. These activities, rehearsals and a public event were shared with other choirs. Communication pieces were produced and posted on social networks and a website was created to show current empowered elderly people. Campaigns on the rights of the elderly were launched  and the accomplishments were published. The work team was made up of teachers, students and graduates from different schools in the UNC, contributing to their training in outreach actions. The proposal allowed older adults, children and young people to interact among them and, through these experiences, a different view of old age was promoted with the aim of improving the quality of life and the process of going through this stage. After the project was completed, actions were continued to keep the links created during the pandemic.
